Oak and spalted beech (Bok). (The 2 largest are made from excess pieces that were cut out from when my son @mitchhagfalk renovated the kitchen in his apartment).

Hope everyone has had a good summer? Triple-r has been busy with a few projects and we have managed to take the time to work on a few ideas (at last 😜)…

Here’s The Wedge - “budget version”. Bit of a weird name but couldn’t think of anything better 😂

Well anyway, this “Wedge” is made in Pine (Furu) and can be ordered in several sizes/lengths. Height will always be around 45cm and width approximately 35cm. It’ll be sanded but no surface treatment… this will allow you to add your own touch to the bench… paint it, dye it, put hard wax oil on it, shou sugi ban it or leave it as it is 🤓.

Here’s some price info… (bench in the photos is the 80cm one).

60cm length = 2000:-
80cm length = 2250:-
100cm length = 2500:-
120cm length = 2750:-

Sofa table picked up by client… and a happy one 🤓 (lucky for me 😜).

Sofa table with a little shelf underneath for bits and pieces and the remote control… I’ve always hated remote controls… keep them out of sight if possible 😜 made from 1 plank of oak myself and @knackknack milled with our @granberginternational about 2 years ago. Air dried.

Also picked up from @navekvarnslab 2 planks of good looking Birch/Björk… any one interested in a table made from these? Or should they become 4 coffee/sofa tables?

Planks dimensions are about 55/60 wide and 280cm long.

This means that a table top could be made from these in dimensions of 270x100cm

3D sketches are of how the table top could look like and how the sofa table could look like…

Delivery of this bookshelf was this evening. Always a little nerve racking with a delivery, when all was done and installed the clients were super happy with the result 🤓. Getting such a positive response makes my choice of career change 3 years ago even more worthwhile. Thanks Kaj and Helene for the support, believing in Triple-R and giving such positive vibes 🥰

Book shelf is similar to previous shelves Triple-R have done but a little more ‘complicated’, I am very pleased how it turned out 👍 hopefully you all agree? 🤓

Made from one thick plank of Oak (well almost) that was milled by @triplersweden and @knackknack a while back. This thick plank was then re-sawn into 3 thinner planks, these were then used to make this bookshelf.

95x110cm are the dimensions and will now be known as “The Edge“... so in this case it will be called “The Edge 5” and previous shelves “The Edge 2”. Hopefully it’s clear with the names? (Thanks to @lo_keramik for giving me the idea for the name 🥰).

The first ‘The Wedge’ was delivered during the beginning of the this week... thanks to the lovely clients that started all of this off Leo and @stockholmsstrom 😍

Bonus shelf came from the same oak plank that myself and @knackknack milled about 1.5 years ago with the @granberginternational alaskan saw mill and our co-owned #stihl880

Stoked that they are happy with the results 🤓

Top is Made from a solid piece of gorgeous oak (book leafed) legs are of course oak 😜 (second time I’ve used a lathe since the 70’s).

Huge thanks to @crooks_and_meyer for letting me use their lathe as it was to cold to use mine (it’s outside and it was -15)

Dimensions are 110 x 35 cm and height is 41cm

Shelf looks good as well 🤓👍

Top is Made from a solid piece of very nicely figured Elm 🌳 legs are 2 pieces of spalted beech and laminated/sandwiched in the middle is some more Elm.

Dimensions are 67.5 x 29.5 cm and height is 39.5cm

I was asked to come up with a design for a hallway

I was asked to come up with a design for a hallway bench for an old friend (sk8 buddy) and his wife... I was pretty stoked that they asked me as they have pretty good taste in furniture and I know it runs in their family that they want quality items 🤓

I’ve been following @modernisten (run by the clients brother) and saw a classic Carl Gustaf Boulogner bench from 1961 that he had for sale. When I saw this over 1 year ago, I was inspired by the construction. So I did a few sketches with this design in mind.

I also decided to try a small prototype of the more advanced idea that I had... which by the way I messed up... but then led to the idea of ‘why not a series of 3 different designs’ all based on the basic idea inspired by Carl Gustaf...

So, here it is...

The Wedge

They will be available in 3 styles/designs... ‘The Wedge’, ‘The Wedge - In’ and ‘The Wedge - Out’

Hopefully you’ll understand which design is which

Choice of material and size will be up to the client... DM if you’re interested in one of these designs and would like a quote for prices...

Next project is a little special... due to the fact that it will be the first large project that Triple-r will be using material that @triplersweden and @knackknack milled with our co-owned @stihl #stihl880 chainsaw and @granberginternational mill 🤓

Pretty stoked about this 👍 and right now I’m trying to work out the placement of each plank... shouldn’t take that long 😜
